Poliform has spent more than five decades shaping the way people live indoors. At this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, held October 28 to November 1, the brand focuses on outdoor living, the latest addition to the brand's catalog. Partnering with Ferretti Group, the Italian yacht builder behind Riva, Pershing, Wally, and Ferretti Yachts, Poliform presented a selection of outdoor furnishings across a series of nautical vignettes.

It was a natural pairing. Both companies draw on a shared heritage of Italian craftsmanship, designing for clients who expect the same level of refinement on deck as in the living room.

Among the pieces featured were the Magnolia Armchair, shaped by the fluid lines found in nature; the Ketch Sofa, generous in volume and inspired by the nautical world; and the Crew Coffee Table, a distillation of the ancient craft of ceramics into a pared-back form.

The installations reinforced the vision behind Poliform’s outdoor collection: that the boundary between inside and outside should feel seamless, and that furniture can connect people to the surrounding landscape rather than simply occupy it.

The collaboration also signals where the brand is headed. Founded in Italy in 1970, Poliform now operates in 95 countries through 400 authorized dealers, 110 of them mono-brand stores. Its catalog has grown from modular systems and wardrobes to kitchens and, now, a full outdoor offering.

“The way we collaborate with partners both within and beyond our industry speaks to our brand’s capabilities to serve a wide spectrum of environments,” Laura Anzani, CEO and President of Poliform USA, said in a statement. “From residential spaces to bespoke solutions, we are agile in addressing different needs while consistently upholding the highest standards of design excellence.”

If the boat show proved anything, it’s that Poliform no longer sees a line between indoors and out, land and sea. Wherever its clients choose to live, the brand intends to furnish it.
