On 22 May, ArchiPro’s Home Design Evening returns to Shed 10 in Auckland with an event designed around exactly that moment. At the centre of the evening is a live conversation hosted by architect and Grand Designs New Zealand presenter Tom Webster, who returns to lead a panel exploring the decisions that quietly determine whether a home works.

What it costs, how it performs and how it ultimately feels to live in.

It’s the kind of discussion most homeowners rarely get to hear firsthand: the candid perspective of architects, designers and builders reflecting on what happens before construction begins, and the moments where the direction of a project is often set.
