Why this designer specified REVEGO pocket doors for her own kitchen.

Retaining versatility while resolving key design issues explains why Nicola Manning chose REVEGO.
Nicola Manning of Nicola Manning Design specialises in residential interiors. So when it came to designing her own kitchen, she had very clear ideas about what was needed.
“Previously we had a single door on each side of the pantry,” she says. “The left one did get in the way a little bit as it protruded out into the space…we tended to leave the pantry doors open a lot and hardly ever closed them.”

Making the most of a limited space.
Nicola saw the potential of REVEGO to allow easy access to the pantry and working areas while keeping them out of sight when out of use.
“I chose REVEGO because I just loved the functionality of it, with options for the single (uno) and bi-fold (duo) doors,” she says. “It works so well in this kitchen – being able to fold the bi-fold into the right.
“It really just opens up the pantry so we can use it easily.”
And just as importantly: “I love being able to close it off.”
Nicola explains that her pocket doors fold away from the busy area of the oven and fridge. When these areas are not in use, REVEGO forms a stylish, clutter-free surface – more like a wall than a door.
“Little things can make a big difference. If something is easy to use, it creates huge opportunities to enjoy that space and maximise the productivity in their kitchen,” she says.

Versatility that works in practically any setting.
REVEGO offers more creative scope to designers like Nicola because it can be easily configured and customised.
The integrated pocket system can be tailored with your choice of finishes, allowing the creation of a seamless look that could include fluted, natural or textured surfaces that match your colour scheme. Thanks to complete integration of the sophisticated technology, the overall look of the furniture is not affected. This opens up more options for furniture planners, architects and interior designers
While Nicola has opted for full-height REVEGO, there are also half-height pocket units that can be put together using a consistent design language. Blum has ensured that each unit opens and closes smoothly with fingertip pressure, so there’s no need to push hard on the mechanism or force the doors into their pockets.
When Nicola suggests REVEGO to her clients, she can speak from experience:
