Colour Tiles Are Back: The Return of Character in Contemporary Interiors

Earthy Neutrals

Sunbaked clay, blush, peach, cinnamon and tan, drawn from artisan ceramics and Mediterranean living. They pair naturally with stone, timber and aged metals for layered, relaxed spaces.

Particularly Pink
The retro reputation of pink tiles is firmly behind them. Today's take favours soft blush, dusty rose, and pale peach over the bolder shades of the past, with these gentler tones now functioning much like a warm neutral.

From Green to Blue
Sage, olive and forest green tiles answer the demand for calm and work especially well in bathrooms. Blue is the next evolution, from slate and powder blue through to cobalt and azure: cool and restorative.

A Brighter Palette
Tones of mustard, ochre, and buttery yellow, used in small doses (niches, splashbacks, feature walls), add warmth without overwhelming.

Browns: From Clay to Cocoa
Rich caramel through to deep chocolate and burnt terracotta. Lighter taupes act as elevated neutrals, pairing with timber, Antique Brass and natural textures; richer tones bring drama across floors or colour-drenched walls.

How a tile is laid can matter as much as its shade. Checkerboard is the clearest example, with softer tonal pairings (cream and sand, sage and stone) replacing strict black and white.

Stone, and the porcelain designed to capture it, carries genuine geological variation, so every tile is one of a kind. Bold veining (moody Verde, warm Rosso Levanto) is the new neutral, delivering depth that mass-produced alternatives can't replicate.

Mesh-backed and pre-arranged, mosaics bring intricate patterns within reach without laying each tile individually. Fine squares add subtle texture; larger formats make a graphic statement. Grout finishes the look, matched for a seamless effect or contrasted to emphasise pattern.

Our Tiles Collection spans a diverse range of colours, textures and formats, from the contemporary Atami Collection and handcrafted-inspired Zellige Tiles to classic Subway styles and natural stone, with a finish to suit every aesthetic.
