Healdsburg Guest House

Healdsburg Guest House is both a modern guest house and pool house designed for visitors, poolside entertaining and relaxed indoor-outdoor living. Conceived as a resort-like cabana, spaces include a yoga room, bedroom, and bath and covered courtyard at the center of it all that provides a gathering spot for spaces positioned just steps from the pool. The design is organized around paired wings that draw guests toward a covered courtyard, complete with a wet bar for gathering, serving and casual entertaining. Additional seating areas extend beneath two trellises, offering flexibility for both larger groups and more intimate moments. One seating area is oriented toward the hillside panorama, while the other faces the pool, creating distinct zones for relaxation and conversation. As a modern guest and pool house, the project balances privacy, openness and a strong connection to the landscape. A cedar-lined courtyard roof brings warmth and texture overhead, continuing behind the open doors to blur the line between indoors and out. The small but multi-functional resort-like cabana feels generous, considered and shaped for guests, outdoor living and easy poolside entertaining.
