The Brixton project is a mid-century modern home in Pasadena where The Warren layered custom plaid textiles, sculptural lighting, and carefully curated vintage pieces over the home's clean architectural bones. Expansive windows connect the living spaces to the surrounding landscape, while warm materials and bold color soften the structure. The result is a distinctly California interior...modern in line, generous in character. A custom plaid sectional anchors the living room, wrapping the space in color and creating an informal gathering area beneath the exposed wood beams and sculptural lantern pendant. An olive vintage Italian lounge chair and sculptural table lamp sit against moody plaster finish, grounding the mid-century architecture with richly textured layers and contemporary art.

“We had such a great experience working with Christian, Katy, Tomas, and the entire team. From the beginning, the process felt collaborative and easy. Christian created an initial design that both my husband and I loved, and the finished product was beautiful, almost identical to the original renderings. Christian is incredibly talented at what she does. She has amazing taste and an incredible eye for detail, and she brought together elements throughout our home in ways we never could have imagined. Everything coordinates so beautifully, and the result feels both thoughtful and unique. Katy was extremely knowledgeable about the architecture of our home and what could and couldn't be done structurally, which gave us a lot of confidence throughout the process. As with any renovation, we knew there was potential for costs to increase. We had a very helpful conversation with Christian at the beginning about our budget and where our limits were, which made it much easier to make decisions along the way and keep the project on track. Overall, the entire team was professional, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. We absolutely love our home and are so thankful to The Warren.”
