This remodel is in the heart of Mesa Oaks, one of Austin's lush, tree-covered neighborhoods. Our team had the pleasure of collaborating with a dynamic couple who really wanted a harmonious blend of modernity and nature. They were determined to maintain the existing footprint of their home while embarking on a full-scale interior renovation. From the moment we were introduced to these clients, it became evident that their vision was as ambitious as it was inspiring. Teaming up with Dwell Builders, we embarked on a transformative journey that was quite the scene during the demo - one side of their house was completely open to the outdoors for days while installing a structural beam! Despite the modest footprint of the home, our design philosophy revolved around maximizing every square inch of space, ensuring functionality without compromising on aesthetics. A striking double-sided modern steel fireplace serves as a captivating focal point, bridging the gap between the cozy intimacy of the living room and the expansive kitchen area.
