Lone Oak

Nestled in South Austin, this stunning renovation draws inspiration from the iconic hues of Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul and timeless Spanish Hacienda aesthetics. Collaborating with a dynamic and well-traveled couple, Etch Design Group transformed this home into a colorful, culturally rich retreat that feels both personal and sophisticated. From custom furnishings and curated artwork to intricate tile designs and thoughtfully selected finishes, every detail was designed to reflect the homeowners’ global inspirations and family heritage. Bold color palettes and authentic textures create a harmonious balance of vibrancy and warmth, ensuring each space feels like a true sanctuary. Highlights include a serene primary bathroom inspired by luxury spa retreats, a striking kitchen with old-world charm and modern functionality, and handcrafted details like a custom-forged iron bed and bespoke cabinetry. The result is a home that not only celebrates design innovation but also provides a lasting sense of connection, comfort, and joy. This home is more than a project—it’s a masterpiece of cultural storytelling and intentional design, making every day feel like a vacation.
