Designed for an international client seeking a refined home base in New York, this West Chelsea pied-à-terre underwent selective interior renovation with a complete furnishing program. The goal was to create a sophisticated, intentional space that remained comfortable and easy to inhabit.
A restrained framework sets the tone, allowing light, proportion and art to shape the experience of the interiors. The design balances clarity with warmth, resulting in a home that feels composed without being formal.
The finished apartment offers a quiet counterpoint to the surrounding city—an understated, thoughtfully resolved retreat grounded in New York.
