HINOKI LANE

Tucked high above the city’s rhythm, this Japanese-inspired retreat offers a quiet refuge from the outside world. Designed for a client seeking stillness, reflection, and connection to the things she holds most dear, the home unfolds as a personal sanctuary—an intimate gallery of life’s collected treasures. Natural materials, soft light, and subtle textures create a sense of calm that lingers in every corner. Each space invites pause and presence, honoring the beauty of simplicity and the art of restraint. Grounded in wabi-sabi philosophy, the design celebrates imperfection and authenticity, allowing the home to feel both refined and deeply human. A place to breathe, to rest, and to simply be—this residence is a portrait of serenity, balance, and soulful living.
