Boardwalk House

The Boardwalk House is the neighboring residence of the “Beach House”, and it is situated on the adjacent northeast lot. The two houses have been conceived as “sister residences” and the Boardwalk House was intentionally designed to welcome the family’s next generation. To establish a visual dialogue between the two properties, the design utilizes an identical palette of materials: oil-finished teak wood siding, limestone exterior walls, sleek steel fascias and columns, and matching stone pavers across the terraces. Throughout the home, walls of glass and steel open to dual outdoor spaces. On the entry side, an intimate terrace invites quiet moments with cozy chairs pulled up to an outdoor fireplace. On the opposite side, a more expansive terrace opens toward the golf course, complete with its own firepit and dedicated dining area. Inside, the great room perfectly balances connection and privacy. To one side, a sprawling kitchen effortlessly accommodates large gatherings, while the opposite wing features three bedrooms tailored for visiting children and grandchildren. Upstairs, the home transitions into a quiet retreat: a glass-encased main suite that feels like a jewel box, entirely separate from the bustling life below. The interior design deliberately complements the ocean views, keeping the focus squarely on the spectacular surroundings. The color scheme takes its cue directly from the landscape—mirroring the sandy tones of the beach, gray driftwood found on the shore, the rugged coastal bluffs, and the architectural limestone itself. The resulting effect is entirely natural, comfortable, and welcoming in the most unpretentious way. Ultimately, just like its sister property, the Boardwalk House stands as a profound labor of love and a lasting family legacy, the beautiful realization of a shared vision and passion.Boardwalk House
