LaRue Architects

Founded in 1989 by James LaRue, the firm has developed a modernist-inspired vernacular informed by regional materials, lasting design, and a deep respect for the surrounding environment. From lakeside retreats to urban residences, each project is guided by its setting – reflecting the character and context of place.

Built on a vision of client-driven, site-responsive design, LaRue Architects remains intentionally selective in scale. The firm offers each client a high level of personal attention and considered solutions through an experienced, collaborative team that delivers thoughtful, enduring residences.
