In our exclusive Q&A, we dive into the Lozano Jolas Interiors approach with Co-founder, Michelle Jolas. She shares the secrets behind their unique style, their vision for 2025 trends, and what makes Lozano Jolas' designs truly unforgettable.
TSG: Lozano Jolas' designs have a timeless, classic, and chic edge. What’s your secret for creating spaces that stay stylish and yet relevant over the years?
Michelle Jolas: This is such a great question. And it is paramount to our design! We are obsessed with the history of interior design, the interior design pioneers before us and the history of furniture. We love to teach our clients about the provenance of furniture. I think Lauren’s resume is phenomenal because of her education and her invaluable experience working for some of the greatest auction houses and antique galleries, fostering a discerning passion for rare, one-of-a-kind pieces. And I am the one who is the estate sale, antique and vintage shopping junkie – with the graphic design background. I always say Lauren is the old soul and she’s taught me the world when it comes to the history of furniture. And I continue to learn. To answer your question, the most important aspect that we introduce to every project, is furniture with provenance and the mix of old and new. THIS is what makes our spaces relevant over the years!

TSG: Lozano Jolas Interiors has such a distinctive style that effortlessly merges elegance with bold creativity. What do you believe sets Lozano Jolas apart from other interior design firms, and makes your approach truly one-of-a-kind?
Michelle Jolas: Thank you so much for asking this and as I read the question it kind of brought tears to my eyes because Lauren and I have been working so hard to be truly-one-of-a-kind! When we interview clients, we say “Our style is not black and white, we are not vanilla. We look at every project with a completely unique perspective. We dive in deep and truly get to know you. And then we deliver a design that is beyond your wildest imagination, because we wanted it to be you and the space that makes you so deeply happy, every corner you turn!”
TSG: Lozano Jolas seems to always be ahead of the curve. Are there any emerging design movements that you predict will shape the luxury residential market next year?
Michelle Jolas: When I read this it made me think I guess we are doing something right! When you are a designer, a right-brainer, you just immerse yourself in everything design all the time. It’s funny when I talk to people that are not right-brainers and they say they are so stunted when it comes to making creative decisions and I think to myself, how could that be? But those are the people that are our clients that we love and want to work with. They are the brilliant ones who are out their working, raising their families, traveling, living their lives and don’t have the time to make their home beautiful and we want to blow them away. We really do want to be ahead of the curve. I think the emerging design movements are incredible bespoke sculptural wall and ceiling reliefs (they are out of this world and we are proposing a beautiful design for a client right now), maximalism (which we love), futuristic furniture (I saw this at Design Miami two years ago) and AI.
TSG: Colors and textures are such a signature of your work. Are there any shades, materials, or patterns you think will define interiors in 2025?
Michelle Jolas: I think the colors for 2025 are driven by connecting more with nature and earth tones like terracotta, rust, ochre, beige and sage. I’m feeling very connected to these colors and we are using them in our projects right now. I think the hottest materials right now are the bespoke sculptural wall and ceiling reliefs, tiles and stones. I love all the tile and stone options today and how they are pushing the envelope with unique materials, patterns and graphics.
We can’t wait to see these design trends come to life with Lozano Jolas Interiors’ incredible touch!
This is the brand to watch, and we’re absolutely thrilled they have established their chic design firm in Palm Beach!!
