This 19th-century Fort Greene row house was renovated with Elizabeth Roberts Architects and featured in Architectural Digest. The interiors are warm and relaxed, with blush pearlescent plaster walls, fireplaces with colorful marble inlays inspired by Italian mosaics, and a rose marble kitchen island at the center of the entertaining space. A glass wall opens the garden level to a lush back garden. The result is refined, bohemian and fully at home in its historic shell.

“Antoin wasn’t just honest, reliable, and pleasant, three traits that aren’t often found in contractors – he was an active problem solver who worked closely with me, my spouse, and our architect to achieve our goal at a reasonable cost. Our goal: gut-renovation of a 7,500 square foot brownstone without destroying its charm.
