Situated along a quiet canal in Hallandale Beach, this tropical modern residence is shaped by its relationship to water, light, and leisure. Designed as both a private retreat and an entertainer’s home, it embodies a refined interpretation of South Florida living.
The arrival sequence is defined by layered, cantilevered roofs and balconies intersecting with travertine-clad planes, establishing rhythm and depth across the façade. A contrasting aluminum-clad volume introduces a contemporary counterpoint, while the street-facing elevations remain deliberately enclosed to ensure privacy and security.
Internally, the home opens dramatically toward the canal. Extensive glazing dissolves the rear façade, drawing in expansive water views and natural light. The double-height living space anchors the interior, lending a sense of openness and vertical generosity.
Outdoor living unfolds across two primary levels. The upper terrace houses a summer kitchen and dining area, positioned for elevated views and social gatherings. Below, the pool and built-in spa sit at water level, creating a seamless transition to the private deep-water dock and direct ocean access.
Material contrasts—stone, glass, metal—are deployed with restraint, allowing the architecture to feel both elegant and inviting. The result is a residence that balances grandeur with warmth, offering a lifestyle defined by ease, connection, and the quiet luxury of waterfront living
