The casual ease of a backyard BBQ; the excitement of discovering a beachside fish shack while on vacation; the exhilarating energy of a stimulating dinner party – Asado Vino, the new concept from Blue Ribbon Restaurants, seeks to capture the essence of all of these experiences in one space. Tucked away inside of the Green Valley Ranch Casino, Ortikia will take on a uniquely residential feel in order to evoke feelings of our most memorable meals shared best with family and friends. A semi-permeable façade wall will offer glimpses of the space within and promote a sense of discovery and curiosity inviting diners to come inside. Once guests walk through the oversized front doors and into the entrance foyer, they will be totally transported off of the casino floor and welcomed by the familiar smells and sounds of cooking over an open flame. A grand bar and lounge area will invite guests to gather for a drink or grab a small bite prior to sitting down while an expansive mirrored back bar will reflect the magic that is taking place behind them. Inside the main dining room, a soaring ceiling will expose the volume of the space while multiple, offset, custom chandeliers will create the effect of twinkling string lights, allowing the space to transform as we get later into the evening. Inward facing, plush banquettes keep the energy focused on the heart of the restaurant while elevated booths located in front of a custom, hand painted mural along the north wall provide prime seating options as well. To the west, an exposed kitchen featuring a large, open flame grill flanked by multiple rotisseries will offer guests a front row seat to watch the magic happen. Various collected artifacts will be displayed on open millwork framing the kitchen and adding all of the touches of home. Along the south, a wall of double sided wine cabinets will provide separation between the main dining area and the private dining room where an exposed trellis like ceiling will give the feel of al fresco dining. Inviting and entertaining with touches of whimsy and the hand crafted might best describe the look and feel of Ortikia, simultaneously creating a high energy atmosphere from which we are reminded of some of our most favorite meals while at the same time creating memories of new ones.
