The Katy Trail House is located on a long, narrow property between Turtle Creek and the public Katy Trail hike and bike amenity in Dallas. Â It is an elegant, angular form that stretches the full length of the site, and hovers above the public road on a stone plinth. Â The facade is defined by bays of slender, narrowly spaced columns, and linear roof and floor edges. Â The detailing is carried through to the interior, with a long skylight connecting the major spaces, and a lot of glass, providing connection to both the courtyard-like back yard, and the distant view of Downtown Dallas.
