BELMONT SHORE

For its second location, The Bungalow has chosen a site perched directly above the PCH with sweeping views out towards the Pacific Ocean and the famed Huntington Beach Pier. This time around, Studio Collective and Brent Bolthouse decided to tab Ray Eames, the well-known, Southern Californian mid-century artist and designer as its muse. Unlike its more bohemian predecessor in Santa Monica, the Huntington Beach outpost of The Bungalow will feature a clean, yet eclectic design. The space itself is comprised of a finish palate of natural oiled woods, painted white brick, warm, neutral toned plasters and colorful patterned tile. Expanding upon one of the founding principles of mid-century design, The Bungalow will once again have a strong connection between the interior and exterior, featuring an expansive deck overlooking the ocean, complete with its own bar for providing the ultimate Southern Californian setting from which to watch the sun set. The décor will also feature a mid-century bend and will offer patrons a variety of comfortable seating groupings from which to choose. Anchored by a mix of custom leather sofas, club chairs upholstered in rich, textured fabrics and a combination of bespoke lighting reminiscent of the period, The Bungalow Huntington Beach seeks to create a brand new environment for all to enjoy while providing the same level of service and hospitality for which its loyal clientele have become accustom.
