Blair Burton Interiors

Blair Burton Interiors is an Austin-based residential interior design firm creating thoughtful, collected homes that feel deeply personal to the people who live in them.

Founded in 2004 by principal designer Blair Burton, the firm works on highly personal residences, extensive renovations, new construction, family retreats and multigenerational homes. BBI layers antiques, art and one-of-a-kind objects with custom furnishings and architectural detail to create homes that feel as though they have developed over time.

Rather than imposing a signature aesthetic, the studio begins with the people who will live there—the way they gather, the things they value and the life they hope to build within the walls. Collaboration with clients, architects, builders and craftspeople is central to the practice, with the BBI team helping clients navigate the interconnected design, construction and financial decisions that arise along the way.

BBI's Austin studio is located within the Burnet Lane Design Collective, which Blair founded to bring the firm together with complementary showrooms and design businesses in a shared destination for the city's design community. The studio sits alongside The Shoppe by Blair Burton, Blair's own showroom for antiques, vintage pieces, furnishings and objects sourced through her travels and ongoing collecting.

At the heart of the firm's work is a belief that a home can be more than a beautiful collection of rooms. At its best, it becomes a place of permanence and belonging—a setting for relationships, memories and the objects that tell a family's story.
