Every project build is a collaboration – between clients, architects, builders and designers. The stylish interior renovation of this double fronted Victorian home in Port Melbourne is a testament to a truly fruitful ‘meeting of the minds’.

The first thing you notice is the sense of space throughout. Clever design by architects Saltbox Design accentuates natural light via custom made powder coated steel windows and doors. The full-length glass doors open out to a private deck, revealing a space that exudes a sense of calm and relaxation. Configuring these areas meant the removal of some existing internal walls and the installation of new ones.

Interior design by Cranberry Design ensures everything works together to create a sense of relaxed urban living. The pristine white colour tones throughout contrast beautifully with Pale Oak timber flooring. Cleverly functional design features abound, including under tile heating mats in the bathroom, pull-out laundry hampers in the European laundry, and barn-style sliding doors installed for the two front bedrooms. In the kitchen, a 2pac painted custom roller door between benchtop and overhead cupboards utilises empty space for additional appliance storage.
