Project team
Located in the Flatiron District of New York City, the South Indian restaurant Kidilum—meaning beyond awesome in Malayalam—serves the flavors of Kerala amid Artistic Tile natural stone mosaics. With patterns that recall the carved wooden ornaments of regional architecture, more than six designs mix marble, travertine, bluestone, quartzite, and limestone in hues ranging from tiger orange to palm green.
