Kapiti Day Hospital.

Focusplan was privileged to design and fitout Kapiti Day Hospital, bringing two state-of-the-art surgical theatres to the Kapiti coast!

The facility includes two operating theatres for Endoscopy and Eye Surgery, with the ability to perform other surgical procedures in the future. The 600 sqm facility also includes a recovery suite, and a CSSD, along with consultation rooms and a small procedure room.

Finishes were selected to add warmth and texture to the building, ensuring the best possible patient experience.

A massive project, our team at Focusplan had to overcome many compliance and base-build hurdles that arose when integrating a high-spec, technical, surgical facility into an existing building.

We are excited to see the positive impact this facility will have in the lower North Island region.
