Canopy Imaging Hawkes Bay.

Focusplan was honoured to design and deliver Hawke’s Bay’s first Molecular Imaging and Therapy Centre for Canopy Imaging. Seeing the positive impact this facility is having on patients, staff, and the wider Hawke’s Bay community so far is incredibly fulfilling.

Included within the facility are both SPECT CT and PET CT modalities, along with 5 uptake rooms with individual patient ensuites, a Hot Lab, a Post Recovery room, and Staff and Admin areas.

Designed with the patient and staff experience at the forefront, every space within the building has been carefully crafted to make patients comfortable and relaxed, while adhering to the clinical requirements of a Molecular Imaging facility. A feature of the fit-out includes the use of large recessed ceiling and wall lightboxes in the corridor, complemented with luxurious timber veneer panelling.

In the treatment rooms, large wall graphics depicting iconic Hawke’s Bay landscapes are applied to the face of the scanners and the walls behind, to make patients feel at ease during their treatment. Premium commercial wallcoverings adorn the walls of the facility, adding colour and warmth, while providing durability and protection.
