21-storey Deloitte Centre, 1 Queen Street, Auckland is a world-class low carbon mixed-use development consisting of premium office space, a 5-star 139 room hotel, a roof-top bar and ground floor retail connecting directly into Commercial Bay.

This 6 Star - Green Star redevelopment of a 50-year-old structure involved stripping the building back to its concrete frame and adding an extension to the south - the building was reclad with our Thermosash PW1000 Unitised High Performance Curtainwall, delivering energy efficiency as well as clear views across the harbour, and a comfortable internal environment for the occupants.

Our Thermosash PW1000 Unitised suite is engineered from low embodied carbon aluminium mullions and transoms which structurally hold the glazing internally providing a smooth flush glazed external surface.

A wide range of various material types can be integrated into the prefabricated unitised panels, including different glass types, metals, terracotta and porcelain tiles. Brackets for feature elements such as louvres, fins, sunshades or building signage can easily be accommodated.

Opening sashes for highrise projects can also be incorporated into the PW1000 system.
