Contemporary by Antrobus Design Collective is a refined residential interior shaped by warmth, restraint and quietly sculptural detail.
The project brings a modern language to apartment living, using clean architectural lines, soft neutral tones and tactile natural materials to create a calm, highly resolved interior.
Throughout the home, timber is used as both a functional and atmospheric device. Vertical battens define key zones, conceal services and add rhythm to otherwise minimal spaces, while integrated joinery keeps the interior visually composed. In the bedroom, a timber screen forms a gentle backdrop to the bed, balancing privacy and openness within a light-filled plan.
The material palette is deliberately restrained, allowing texture and light to do much of the work. Pale flooring, soft upholstery, sheer window treatments and stone surfaces create a sense of ease, while darker accents in lighting, hardware and artwork introduce contrast. The dining area continues this approach, pairing a sculptural pendant with a marble table, pale leather seating and carefully integrated storage.
In the bathroom, backlit stone brings a more atmospheric quality to the interior. Set behind the bath and shower zone, the illuminated panels create a sense of depth and softness, transforming a practical space into one that feels immersive and considered.
Contemporary is defined by its balance of comfort and precision. Rather than relying on overt decoration, Antrobus Design Collective uses proportion, materiality and finely resolved detailing to create a home that feels calm, modern and quietly luxurious.
