Coastal Summer House

Experience the transformation of the Clougherty Residence, a stunning example of bespoke interior design by Lulu Designs completed in 2019. This project seamlessly blends functionality with modern aesthetics, creating a warm yet sophisticated family space. From custom interior doors to a relocated entryway—where we introduced a welcoming front door—the home now invites you in with a fresh, polished look. Large bi-fold doors open to blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living, offering an effortless California-style vibe perfect for entertaining and relaxation.  Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to reflect the family's personality and lifestyle. We enhanced existing architectural features, such as the prominent beam, and infused personalised touches like a family-collected beach art piece. The primary bathroom maximises storage while maintaining a sleek, contemporary appearance, contrasting with antique fixtures for a timeless feel. In the children's bedroom, a floating bed from the ceiling adds a playful touch for sleepovers, and the stairwell’s glass balustrade creates an illusion of space, making the home feel larger and more inviting. With bespoke elements, smart space planning, and a carefully curated colour palette, this residence is truly tailored to your needs and style."
