The Sudfeldt family wanted a secure, smart, energy-efficient home for their new build in St Kilda.

After discussing the brief, a Control4 home automation system was the answer. Integrating their security, audio-visual, heating and energy management systems into one platform.

The door station has an intercom and allows keyless access. Administration of permissions and time frames can be loaded by the Sudefeldts on demand for family, guests and cleaners.

The alarm is automatically deactivated on entry and activated on departure.

The Sudfeldt's wanted an intuitive yet simple AV system. This encompassed the key living areas including kitchen, living, media and outdoors.

The audio system specified is a combination of architectural speakers and amplification. This provides crystal clear sound quality without compromising the aesthetics of the house.

The client requested easy access to services such as Spotify, Deezer, Netflix and Sky. The Control4 platform provided a beautiful interface to suit their needs. The end result was a simplistic yet elegant system that the Sudfeldt family can enjoy.

The heart of the system is the equipment rack and is where the main central components are.

This includes the Control4, audio-visual, networking, surveillance and temperature integration equipment.

The equipment rack is designed to be discrete and out of sight. The slide-out rack provides easy accessibility for service and any future additions. Technology simplified!
