Touzet Studio

We believe great architecture connects people to nature and to each other through a mindful approach to materials, landscape, light, and environmental comfort. We draw inspiration from a wide variety of sources for our design and as futurists we champion innovation. Yet we also love and respect history, which preserves our collective stories and cultures. At the heart of our practice is an understanding of architecture as a source of cultural place-making, which we at Touzet Studio accomplish through mindful and sustainable consideration of materials and process.

Craft

With decades of technical expertise, our designs meet the needs and aspirations of even demanding developers who expect excellence. We know how buildings come together at every scale: exceptional residential spaces, high-performance envelopes, and construction detailing for realistic production timelines. We leverage every tool-hand drawings, maquettes, BIM, Revit, Al analysis—because mastery is knowing which tools reveal certain truths.

Culture

Architecture is a cultural act. We approach preservation, adaptive reuse, and new construction as contributions to Miami's ongoing evolution, not just individual commissions. Each project is an opportunity to add to the city's architectural language, to steward resources thoughtfully, and to create spaces that enrich community and public life. We're invested in what we're building together as a city, not just what we're building for individual clients.

Climate

As experts at designing and building for coastal subtropical and tropical regions, we know that great design is long lasting and future ready. Our buildings perform intelligently through passive cooling solutions, natural ventilation, thermal mass, and resilient envelopes. For us these design features aren't about checking sustainability boxes, but about thorough understanding of building science and climate adaptation as drivers of design.

Listen

Every project begins with listening deeply to our clients, to the site, and to the community it will serve. We don't impose solutions, rather we uncover them through conversation and collaboration. As a studio atelier, and not a firm, we believe in unmediated human interaction. You work directly with the principals designing your project, who remain involved until the end. Understanding what you truly need, and not just what you think you want, is how we deliver architecture that exceeds expectations.

Design

Extensive research—site analyses, climate studies, cultural context, material exploration-guides our design practice. We examine how light moves, how air flows, how people will inhabit the spaces we create. Doing so reveals opportunities that others overlook and ensures every design decision is grounded in evidence, not assumption. We mindfully integrate the latest technology into our process and buildings, creating high-performance architecture that's both intelligent and beautiful. Our design process is highly collaborative and transparent.

Build

We bring to our practice decades of technical building mastery and a meticulous attention to detail. Our work demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of materials, building systems, and construction realities. By staying involved throughout the entire process, from initial sketch to final punch list, we ensure that the built result matches the design intent. Award-winning architecture doesn't happen by accident; it requires relentless commitment to excellence at every phase.
