Style Plus Renovations provide a full project management services looking after your entire renovation or custom new build project for you. This will remove the complexity of managing your project and ensures that your renovation experience is stress-free, enjoyable and rewarding.

At Style Plus Renovations we understand that renovations or custom new builds can be a complex process.

The process will involve individual details that require detailed and dedicated management. Along with the project detail there is the project timeline which also needs to be carefully managed so that trades and suppliers deliver when required.

Style Plus Renovations utilises BuilderTrend which is considered to be the best and most efficient cloud based construction management software tool in the world. It is used by half a million residential construction professionals across the world and is the trusted standard for residential builders.

BuilderTrend provides real-time 24/7 online access for clients and subcontractors to view project scheduling, any variations or additions to the original plan, documents, photos, videos, warranty management, and much more.

The team at Style Plus Renovations recognise that renovation projects deserve the protection of a warranty just as much as a custom new build.

At Style Plus Renovations we realise that every project is different and every client has a different set of requirements. This is why we have created an easy 5 step process to ensure a smooth project for you.

1.     INITIAL CONSULTATION

Our first meeting is intended to be a rewarding and informative experience for you to put forward your thoughts, plans and wishes for your renovation or new build and the budget that needs to be kept to. We are there to listen carefully to you.

We will discuss the benefits and challenges of your project (if any) and how we can most effectively deliver what you want based on your on budget. We can even maybe add an option or two that you hadn’t considered.

If you like what you hear at the consultation, we can move forward and produce Concept Plans.

2.     CONCEPT PLANS, WORKING DRAWINGS & BUILD COSTS

Our team at Style Plus | Renovations Auckland will work with you to review your budget and finalise your layout to create conceptual plans. Based on these plans, we can provide a project estimate and timeline.

The plans are prepared by the professional architectural designers that we are partnered with based on our discussions of what your requirements are.

Once the Concept Plans are completed your Project Manager becomes involved with providing a baseline estimate. When this has been accepted it is time to move onto the next stage which is Working Drawings.

These are the detailed plans that are required for submission to the Council.

They will enable an accurate build cost to be presented to you using our QS process, and timeline to be provided. We will also arrange for the 10 year building warranty with Stamford Insurance, based specifically for your project, to be initiated.

3.     COUNCIL CONSENTS – AUCKLAND

Once the working drawings are complete and the build cost quoted, we will submit the plans to the council on your behalf.

Your dedicated Project Manager will follow the application progress through the council system and liaise with them throughout should there be any additional requirements or requests for information from them.

We will take responsibility to make sure all necessary building consents are issued to allow work to commence before works begin.

4.     AND SO IT BEGINS

We maintain the partnership that we have built during the planning stages and extend it to include our build team.

Your Project Manager will introduce you to your lead builder prior to the start date and together they will discuss the project schedule and timeline with you and provide a user friendly copy of the project timeline and access to BuilderTrend. This way you will know what will be happening each week throughout the project.

You will always be aware of what is happening with your home and you will know immediately if any unexpected issues arise. Additionally, our simple online system (BuilderTrend) makes it possible to access your project from any computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Your Project Manager will meet with you at least once a week to specifically discuss the progress of the project and what is happening for each coming week. If you are working or living overseas we can meet using Skype, Zoom, or Facetime.

Your home will be treated with respect and the work site kept tidy and free of hazards at all times.

5.     COMPLETION

And last but definitely not least we hand your keys back to you then…… sit back and enjoy your new and improved home for many years to come.

Once practical completion has been met our commitment continues. With final inspections made we will submit all the required paperwork gathered throughout the project to the council for the Code of Compliance (CCC).

This is the most important document of the project and will be issued directly to you to be kept safely along with all the other plans and paperwork that you have received throughout the project.
