Project look book featuring Bed-Stuy Brownstone by SOON Architecture Studio. The Patchen Avenue Brownstone is a gut renovation of a three story brownstone at a corner lot. A typical duplex unit stacks over a single bedroom rental at the garden level. This allows for a source of passive income for the home owners and increases the density and community of the surrounding neighborhood.

Project look book featuring Fairmount Open Kitchen by SOON Architecture Studio. With a growing family, new requirements revolving around the simple, daily patterns of life led to rethinking the heart of this young family’s home - the kitchen. The existing kitchen was closed off, out of sight, and detached from the rest of the home. Eyes on the little ones required rethinking this and the adjoining spaces.

Project look book featuring Lincoln Avenue Home by SOON Architecture Studio. The Lincoln Avenue Home is located in the heart of St. Paul’s Macalaster-Groveland neighborhood. Originally built in 1913, the home showed itself to have lovely bones, but due to decades of deferred maintenance, it was in serious need of a renovation.

Project look book featuring Rooftop Forest by SOON Architecture Studio. The South Street Roof Deck is a new rooftop amenity space for a twenty story, 1970’s precast concrete rental building in lower Manhattan. The building structure allowed for large, shade providing trees to be added to the existing rooftop - an urban forest.

Project look book featuring Forest Cabin by SOON Architecture Studio. A compact cabin was left unattended on a plot of beautiful land in Upstate New York. The Rowley Road Modern Cabin carefully reused the existing foundation and reinforced the shell nestled within the forest clearing. Everything else was taken to the studs and thoughtfully re-constructed with entertaining in mind.
