Headed by owner Ross Faulkner, the team of Sieng, Alastair, Andrea and all the tradesmen at Faulkner Construction are a formidable team who are craftsman in their field and produce a product to the highest standard, proven by the awards they regularly win at the Master Builders House of the Year Competition. We genuinely enjoyed this building process, which is something you don't often hear about building a new house. Coming to site most days to see the changes and progress being made, we were very involved in the build and quite particular about the details of our house and Faulkner respected this and delivered an amazing result which has exceeded our expectations. It has actually been difficult writing this reference because words don't seem to adequately express our gratitude for the care and professionalism Faulkner Construction took with our project, particularly Sieng, the site foreman. He is completely unflappable and his attention to detail and ability to get on with the job was a large contributor to the success of the project. When we were looking for a builder we contacted a previous client of Faulkner Construction for a reference and their advice was to look no further than Faulkner Construction. Having now completed our own project with them we can totally echo this advice and if we decide to build again they are the only builders we would consider using.

We have been working with Ross and the team over the last 12 years on a variety of projects with varying degrees of complexity. Choosing the right builder to build our client’s 700m² dream home is not something we take on lightly especially when the house design is an old classic, the American Cape Cod style which carries many complicated features and very demanding detailing. When we first met Ross from Faulkner Construction, he promised to build an “award winning” house and we were delighted. True to his words, the house was built beautifully. During the construction process, we found Faulkner Construction composed of very thoughtful, reliable and highly competent professionals. The site foreman, Tai, with his years of experience and knowledge, blended every tradespeople successfully and delivered satisfying results. Ross and Faulkner Construction carried out a major renovation of our home in Ponsonby, Auckland. From the very beginning the communications were excellent and the advice I was given was sound.

We contracted Faulkner Construction to build our new house in south-east Auckland. Ross and Adriaan were fantastic to deal with from the very start of the process when we were still having the house designed by the architect. The house build won a Registered MasterBuilder's House of the Year Gold Award which the team thoroughly deserved.

I have worked with Faulkner Construction for many years to maintain my 100 year old villa in Auckland and this year I asked them to complete renovations to modernise it. The company was wonderful to work with. Not only did I get a beautiful and sensitive restoration of the villa, working with an architect recommended by the company and a fantastic site team of really dedicated and talented young men but they completed the work in record time - less than six months - to an exceptionally high standard. I was overseas for most of this time and was still able to stay in touch through the Procore system and lots of emails to keep the work on track. I cannot speak highly enough of this company and its staff and would recommend them to anyone.
