Gabriel Dowd is our artisan in residence. With over 20 years of experience, Gabriel began his career in Ireland, honing his craft on heritage estates and historic churches—places where traditional plastering demanded precision, patience, and a deep respect for material.

​Now based in Queenstown, he brings that same mastery to contemporary interiors, shaping refined, natural surfaces that respond beautifully to light and architecture. His specialisation in decorative plastering means he can work with a wide range of materials and also offer guidance on product selection when needed, ensuring every surface achieves both the intended aesthetic and lasting quality.

Supported by a small, dedicated team trained in traditional plastering, Gabriel oversees every stage of the process, from preparation to the final finish. Together, they ensure each surface is consistent, considered, and quietly luxurious—an enduring reflection of both the space and the artisan’s hand.
