At 22 Interiors, we strive for function, flow and beauty in every room, using a design and management process born from years of experience.

We create spaces that feel good, look good, and ultimately make a positive difference to our client's lives. As a result, many of our clients return to us again and again — relationships built on trust, care, and beautiful results.

22 Interiors is a full-service, award-winning interior design agency with residential and commercial projects throughout the United States. We thrive on deciphering a client's idea of the perfect home or commercial environment, translating it into it in a spatial and visual plan, and bringing it to life with an organized installation. We have vetted all of our sources, suppliers, manufacturers, and artisans to ensure the process is seamless - and actually fun!

On the residential side, most of 22 Interiors' clients are busy professionals, some of whom have never used an interior designer before, but all of whom want a finished, beautiful home, and know they need help achieving that. Our commercial clients range from a well-known fitness chain to law firms and hedge funds on both coasts.

22 Interiors has over 240 completed residential and commercial projects under its belt from Los Angeles to San Francisco, Washington D.C., Manhattan, and The Hamptons.  Our work has been featured in local and national publications and blogs including Luxe Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Homes & Gardens, The Los Angeles Times, Rue Magazine, and Modern Sanctuary.

22 Interiors' awards include the 2018 HGTV Best Kitchen Award and Houzz's Best of Design and Best Service, a distinction earned for multiple years running since 2015.

Rebuild LA

Yes, We Review Architectural Plans—And Here's Why You Should Let Us

Lately, we've been getting a lot of inquiries that sound something like this:

“Can you take a look at our architectural plans before we finalize them?”
“We’re working with an architect, but we’d love your take before we commit.”
“Is this layout really going to feel right once we live in it?”

And our answer is: YES.
Yes, we review plans. Yes, we bring a designer’s eye to the process. And yes, it often saves clients time, money, and months of frustration down the line.

Why Get a Second Set of Eyes on Your Plans?

Architects and builders are essential—but they don’t always design with lifestyle, flow, comfort, or real-life function in mind. That’s where we come in.

As interior designers, we look at plans differently. We think about how you’ll live in the space, not just how it will look on paper. Our years of experience reviewing architectural layouts have helped clients:

> Improve flow between key spaces (like kitchen, living, and dining)

> Rework bedroom and bathroom layouts for better privacy or function

> Add thoughtful touches that improve comfort and usability

> Spot awkward transitions before they’re built

> Align design decisions with how the space will actually be lived in

Introducing: The 120-Minute Edit

A Fast, High-Impact Design Consultation for Plan Reviews

We’ve designed a simple but powerful offering for exactly this purpose: Our 120-Minute Edit is a one-time consultation where we sit down with you (virtually or in person), review your plans, and walk through ideas, adjustments, and design recommendations—all in real time. By the end of the session, you’ll have clarity, direction, and likely a few game-changing suggestions to bring to your team.

Ideal for Clients Who Are:

> Building or renovating in Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Altadena, Pasadena, and surrounding areas

> Working with an architect or design/build team, but want a second opinion

> Unsure if their plans are really right—flow, comfort, layout, or all of the above

> Feeling overwhelmed by decisions and looking for clarity

How to Book

We keep these sessions focused and efficient. You can inquire via [email or website link here], and we’ll guide you through next steps. And if you know someone who's in the thick of a renovation? Forward this post their way. We’d love to help them feel more confident, informed, and excited about their plans.

Final Thought

Once the walls go up, it’s much harder (and more expensive) to make changes. Let’s catch the tweaks now—so you can enjoy your space for years to come. Yes, we review plans. And yes—you’ll be glad you asked.

Residential Design

As many of 22 Interiors' clients are busy professionals with limited free time (and many have never used an interior designer before) we have a detailed system that keeps our projects moving and allows clients to feel comfortable knowing that the finished, beautiful home they desire is achievable and on the way to happening.

Our process involves us deciphering what your forever home looks like, translating it into it in a spatial and visual plan, and bringing it to life.  We do this by asking a million questions, showing you many images, putting items together into a design mock up including color schemes, modifying, and finally purchasing and installing.

Full-service interior design is ideal for homeowners who are building a new home, renovating an existing home and all the interior design projects in between. We turn a house into a home. If you are budget conscious or enjoy executing design on your own, then we recommend our consultation services.

Our full-service approach enables us to manage projects from initial concept through to completion, designing your home down to the final detail. It is our job to take care of the major and minute design details that turn a house into a home.

Our Process

1. Initial Call + Design Fee
We ask that you send photos and complete our design questionnaire before our initial call. Once we've discussed your project and understand the scope, we’ll provide a design fee proposal tailored to your needs.

2. Project Launch
After the agreement is signed, we schedule a site visit to measure, photograph, and take in the full essence of your space—including lighting and spatial flow.

3. Design Development
We step away to design. This includes creative concepts, floor plans, elevations, mock-ups, and materials sourcing—customized for your space and style.

4. Design Presentation
We present our vision through drawings, plans, samples, and visuals—making it easy for you to see and feel the full concept.

5. Project Management
We handle it all: proposals, purchasing, custom work, renovations, and tracking. Our systems ensure strong communication and efficient execution.

6. Installation
The grand reveal. We install and style every detail. If any final touches are needed, we’re here to make it happen.

Commercial Design

Modern day commercial interiors are rapidly evolving and we are here for it.  We love bringing a "resimercial" (residential meets commercial) approach to any workplace or commercial space we design.  A company's physical space should reflect the culture of its brand and be a hub, inspiration, and place employees and clients want to visit.  Through out our process, this is top of mind-  whether it's a workplace, a retail boutique, a clinic, a restaurant, or a hotel, to ensure a successful outcome.

We start translating the goals of the project into it in a spatial and visual plan, bringing it to life.  We do this by asking a million questions, showing you many images, putting items together into a design mock up including color schemes, modifying, and finally purchasing and installing.
