About Bath Towels products

When stepping out of a bath and shower there are certain practical garments required. In most bathrooms, there is a variety of absorbent bath linen that can effectively change the entire decor of the space.

A cosy, fluffy towel is an everyday staple. Though primarily functional, there’s no reason they can’t be decorative. Bath towels are an effortless way to renovate the aesthetic of a bathroom. ArchiPro believes there’s absolutely no need to skimp on luxury for the sake of practicality. Suppliers on ArchiPro brings you an extensive range available to suit any individual’s bath towel preferences.

Bath Linen

Dark, plush, velvety fabrics can create a totally different atmosphere to neutral, thin, and silky fabrics. Whatever feel is desired, the most important factor is how well the linen works in cohesion.

One effective way to choose a theme is to prioritize which item of linen is the most important and build the rest of the collection around that.

Bath Towels

The bath towel has many uses. Besides being used for drying the skin and bathroom surfaces, they’re also vital in keeping the bathroom decor fresh and modern. There are many options available. From ultra-soft Turkish towels to sustainable bamboo towels, this bathroom linen can become an extension of self-expression. Some options are sold as bath towel sets, while bath sheets are larger.

Turkish towels

Often also referred to as Peshtemal or Hammam towels, Turkish towels are most noteworthy for their absorbency despite being thin and lightweight. They also conveniently dry very quickly - making them great for poolside use.

Turkish cotton is composed of longer than average cotton fibers resulting in a stronger piece of fabric with a smoother finish. Turkish towels also become smoother after being washed which is a testament to their longevity.

This fabric has a classic design often incorporating stripes, neutral colors, and a fringe. The pieces can even be used as a scarf on a chilly night or for easy minimalist decor around the house.

Bamboo Towels

Composed of bamboo fibers these towels are even more absorbent than cotton. Quantifiably they are four times more absorbent. Bamboo is also a more sustainable natural resource making them an eco-friendly choice.

Bamboo fabric is hypo-allergenic which is good news for those with delicate or sensitive skin. This material is great for babies and adults due to it being an antimicrobial material. This essentially means that the material can protect against bacteria that cause odor.

Bamboo is also harvested without chemicals and pesticides which is an added benefit for those prone to skin irritation due to the presence of harsh chemicals.

Luxury Towels

An absolute essential for any pamper routine, there is a place for luxurious toweling that goes beyond the ordinary. Made from high-quality material, luxury bath towels are meant to give the feeling of being at a five-star resort spa.

Most luxury towels are composed of Egyptian cotton, aero cotton, organic cotton, Pima cotton, or hydro cotton. All materials mentioned are highly absorbent and durable.

Weight is a more important factor in determining which luxury towel set is the right fit. Towel weight is measured in the unit GSM (grams per square meter). As logic would imply, the heavier the material the more absorbent it is.

However, the only drawback of heavier fabrics is the duration of drying time required. For a more practical household that may need shorter drying times but still desire the luxury of plush warmth, a GSM of 400-700 is recommended.

A GSM of 700 and above is usually for creating an experience rather than practicality and is higher maintenance overall. The extra effort is certainly worth it for the added comfort.

Toweling bathrobes

Toweling Bathrobes are an advantageous and self-pampering item to have around the house. With the added benefit of acting as a towel, they can save a lot of drying time during morning and night routines and double up as a source of comfort when leaving a warm bed.

Whether looking to purchase a bathrobe as a gift, or for the guestrooms, or for self-indulgence; there’s a style to suit every lifestyle. When choosing a toweling bathrobe the criteria are much the same as a towel set.

Most important are the material type as well as the GSM (grams per square meter). Microfiber robes are amongst the most popular as the fibers are so fine they provide a silky feeling while still being highly absorbent.

There are also many blends of cotton bathrobes available. From Turkish towels and pure plush Turkish Denizil cotton to bamboo towels; bathrobes can be as glamorous or practical as necessary.

How to care for bath linen

  • Use a high-quality washing detergent when machine washing towels and robes of any material. If washing with an optical brightening agent separate white and color fabrics, and only use on the white linen.
  • Ideally, wash all items in cold water and leave them in the sun to dry. Excessive sun exposure can, however, cause sun bleaching so remove from the line as soon as possible
  • If tumble drying is the only option do so on a lower heat setting. Fabric softeners can also decrease towel absorbency and should only be used if a towel/linen begins to harden.
  • Do not store in a damp cupboard but rather a well-ventilated one. Another option is to stack bathroom linen in a beautiful cabinet in the bathroom itself and place some scented toiletries at the bottom of the cabinet to naturally fragrance the contents.
