Thin Tech Plus System

Stretch the boundaries of brickwork.

Thin Tech Plus® is an engineered, ventilated, medium-weight façade system featuring authentic clay brick facings, without the weight and space restrictions associated with traditional full brick veneer. Measuring in at 42mm, Thin Tech Plus provides a versatile way to apply face brick to any project, replacing fibre cement, wood, metal and aluminium cladding.

Thin Tech Plus consists of large-format, ZAM®-coated, ribbed steel sheets. The sheets mechanically support and space thin clay brick facings with specifically designed support hooks. Each Thin Tech Plus facing and corner facing is grooved on the top and bottom for fast and secure installation, slotting into place with a 10mm horizontal mortar bed. To finish off, mortar is pointed into the joints to fully encase the Thin Tech Plus facings, resulting in composite action between the brick facings, mortar, and the panel.

The Thin Tech Plus System is a lightweight, convenient brick cladding solution that makes installing brick easier. Instead of traditional bricklaying, the system uses prefabricated metal sheeting with brick facings that simply slot into place. Its straightforward installation can make it suitable for self-installation and for tight or restricted-access sites, including zero-lot boundaries where traditional bricklaying and scaffolding can be difficult.

The system can accommodate a wide range of brick options. The products shown below are some of the popular brick options used with the Thin Tech Plus System; however, alternative Brickworks brick ranges can also be accommodated.
