Description:

The new building of the World Maritime University is located in the center of Malmö, close to the central station. In September 2015, the building named the “Urban Hinge” received the City of Malmö’s highest architecture prize, the City Building Prize. The name indicates that the intention of the architect was for the building to serve as a link between the historic city and the docklands. The modern design was completed by Danish architects Utzon Jr. Architects. With our EuraBuild Dark brown copper finish the architect complemented the visual imagery of the facade and connected the new part with the old building of the WMU.
