Wattle House

Overlooking Linley Point, Wattle House is a contemporary home thoughtfully reimagined by Matic by Design for family life and effortless entertaining. Previously defined by expansive, uninviting spaces and a kitchen positioned at the entrance, the home now balances warmth and openness with a more purposeful layout that celebrates its outlook.  A triple-fronted fireplace creates a striking architectural focal point, dividing the entrance from the living area and establishing a welcoming sense of arrival. Relocated to make the most of the view, the kitchen also offers convenient access from the lift for bringing in groceries. An integrated walk-in pantry answers a key requirement of the clients’ brief, keeping everyday essentials close at hand while supporting relaxed hosting.  The same considered approach extends to the powder room and master en suite, both reconfigured around the clients’ specific needs. Together, these changes create an inviting retreat where contemporary character and everyday practicality sit comfortably side by side.
