Big projects don’t have to mean big complications. This 335-unit development brought together standalone homes, terraced houses, and walk-up apartment blocks, all designed with a focus on efficiency, buildability, and cost-effectiveness.

From the outset, our goal was simple: lean, practical engineering that makes construction smoother and more affordable. We developed structural solutions that worked across multiple building types, balancing buildability with efficiency to keep the project moving. But the work didn’t stop at the buildings. We also delivered the engineering for site-wide retaining walls, ensuring the development made smart use of the land without excessive costs. We designed Auckland Transport-vested boardwalks, integrating public infrastructure seamlessly into the community. Additionally, we leaned on our commercial engineering experience to deliver the structural design for a standalone heritage building, preserving character while ensuring long-term stability. This project is a perfect example of what we do best: no overcomplication, no unnecessary costs - just smart, efficient engineering that makes things easier for everyone involved.
