Swannanoa Renovation.

A 70m2 addition, and living area renovation, was made to this lifestyle block home. The addition was drawn up by our in-house designer. The aim was to create an extension to the outdoors with a covered area in the summer, but a warm cosy area in the winter. The heat from the fire is transferred through a heat transfer system the intake located high in the raking ceiling with out-takes in all bedrooms and a formal living area. The tiled area also provides thermal mass – great on sunny winter days.

The kitchen, once small, was redesigned to take over the original dining area, and the dining area moved. American Oak flooring and granite benchtops, dark oak bar leaner, feature wallpaper and a feature orange splashback complete the kitchen/dining renovation.
