Scott Wilson Architect. Inspiring clients to achieve their vision using our God given gifts and timeless principles of design. Because we are a small studio, we are able to spend time with each of our clients and often develop special relationships as a result. It has been our experience that these relationships create in us a desire to make sure our clients are happy and have a great experience during the time spent with us. We like to take a personal interest in our clients and strive to help them consider every aspect of the building process in order to provide them with the information they need to make their building process a successful and enjoyable one. “Tabula Rasa: beginning each project with a clean slate and an absence of preconceived ideas” is a philosophy that sums up our approach to design pretty well. We feel that every client is unique and every project should be too. After listening to our clients and becoming comfortable that we understand their goals, we challenge them to consider options until we create the design that works best for them. We explore how to approach the building and it’s relationship to the site. We study how people will move through the building and how furniture, artwork, etc. will fit in every room and how that may evolve over time. We incorporate time tested principles of design and proportion to ensure that the spaces we design will feel inviting and comfortable for our clients to inhabit.
