Onsen Hot Pools.

An iconic Queenstown Health Spa and hot pools complex that outgrew its original premises and needed to grow with demand, this extension is on a very steep site. The site has uninterrupted views of the Shotover River and the surrounding mountains. The nature of the site dictated a linear floor plan with pool rooms, a relaxing lounge and massage rooms. Client and staffing circulation requirements meant vertical and horizontal paths to enable efficient accessing of all the luxurious facilities. Intensive service engineering has reduced the energy consumption for the water heating while still increasing pool capacity.
