Modern, sophisticated black ceilings for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Trust new work space.

Potter Interior Systems proudly supplied a range of quality products and proven solutions for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Trust and its commercial subsidiary Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Whai Rawa in Auckland.

The unique space not only accommodates the needs of the organisation but is also a space to be shared with whānau.

Key design considerations included creating a space that could be filled with art drawn from Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei’s ringa toi (creatives). A neutral colour palette with natural undertones, timbers and earthy colours were used to connect the workplace back to the land.

AMF Thermatex Thermofon Black suspended ceiling tiles paired with a black Rondo Donn grid have been used throughout to create dimension and contrast within the space. Thermofon Black also provides high sound absorption for enhanced acoustic comfort (NRC 0.85)and are made with new generation bio-soluble mineral wool, clay and starch.
