The owners transformed their outdated “renovator’s delight” with obstructed Balmoral Beach water views into a bright, modern home. The front facade’s heavy Spanish Mission archways and low roofs were replaced with an open gabled roof and verandah, creating a sunny, covered outdoor space that connects to the prized beach views.

A full-width first-floor balcony and approved double garage were added. The ground floor footprint and pool were retained, but interiors were fully remodelled to include spacious living areas and guest accommodation. Upstairs, the first floor was extended and redesigned to offer four bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms. Though largely rebuilt, the project was classified as a renovation to comply with Council planning restrictions.
