Moreno Residence

The design of this Brentwood Residence brings together the character of traditional English brick homes with a contemporary architectural language, creating a hybrid composition that layers both approaches. Brick and blackened steel define the exterior, while brushed stainless steel and floating walls finished in metallic-painted Marmorino introduce a modern counterpoint. The plan eliminates hallways in favor of a central two-story atrium, where a continuous skylight brings light deep into the interior. Large sliding glass panels on both levels open the spaces to the outdoors, while a consistent palette of brick, steel, wood, and smooth plaster carries through the interior, reinforcing a cohesive dialogue between traditional and contemporary elements.
