Designing and renovating my own home was a great way to further explore my love of colour. In some ways it feels like I'm a painter working on my latest canvas; yellow curtains in the kitchen, blue sofa in TV room and pink furnishings in my daughters bedroom.

Responding to the 60's history of the home by selecting some vintage mid-century furntire, rounded out a hugely satisfying project.

NZ House and Garden included our home in their's annual tour of homes in 2016 and was featured in their magazine and on Stuff.

The most important thing is that you fill your house with the things you love.
