Media Retreat.

Home to a film production company, the brief here was to create an inspiring multi-use space for staff and clients to enjoy. An aluminium curved planter softens the rectangle space and retains the roots of a couple of existing trees. This allowed us to underplant with an array of contrasting foliage suited to shade. We created a subtropical plant palette, with a focus on foliage rather than flowers. Strong linear detail surround and define a generous day bed, sitting on wide blackbutt decking. In the dining space, narrow fillets of granite paving elongate the width of the floor.
