Casa Oak, is a contemporary, single-family home, designed for a growing family with intentions to entertain, enjoy outdoor living, and host visiting friends and family. The house is positioned under the canopy of giant oak tree, with a dramatic material palette of white limestone and dark, shou sugi ban siding. Some of the design challenges faced were the site’s steep grade, and noise mitigation from a nearby highway. The result was a floorplan centered around a terraced pool patio with an elevated bedroom wing along one side, and a detached pool house that can serve as a guest wing on the other.

“I’m a General Contractor who has worked with Jeff and his firm on multiple projects. Jeff’s ability to listen to a clients ideas and wishes and to incorporate those into a design that falls into the clients budget and schedule is exemplary. He believes in the “Team” approach where designer, builder and owner work together to achieve the desired goals. As such the entire project becomes an organized and enjoyable experience for all involved. I would highly recommend Jeff and his firm for any project you may be thinking of doing.”
