iCake is a boutique franchise patisserie owned by a lovely passionate young couple. The brief is called to host various entertainments such as ball pit, crane machine, sakura tree and bubble pendent chairs while maximise functionality in a compact space.

Inspired by the diverse beauty of girls in Melbourne, we see this little shop as a magic place where European romance meets the oriental fantasy. We keep the colour palette as minimal as only cherry pink, beige white and retro gold to not interrupt with all the activities happening, but sophisticate textures that various materials bring to enrich sensitivity in layers. Furnitures and lightings are carefully curated to contribute to the atmosphere, so that every detail is evoking an interaction with customers to explore.
