Auckland Ferry Terminal.

This is the biggest upgrade to Auckland's ferry infrastructure and passenger services in more than 200 years. A significant urban waterfront development where visitors arrive and are welcomed to Tāmaki Makaurau. The project responds to sea level rise and is designed to promote mode shift to more sustainable travel choices.

Alucolux in Pure White is a key material used to build 3 modular built 'gangways' in Hobsonville Point in 3 pieces. They were then transported to the Western edge of Queens Wharf where they were dropped into place and joined together. Off-site prefabrication of these canopy elements speed up the installation process and avoid issues on a constrained site. Alucolux was selected to meet the specific material brief.
