Our clients had been living in Prestons for several years but desired a larger space. They got an architect to draw up a sketch, and Golden Homes worked with them on various concepts. Together, they designed our dream home.

"It's a funny-shaped section, and we wanted the house to have two wings, be north-west facing, and include a pool," the clients mentioned. Upgrades such as Quickstep flooring, his and hers walk-in robes, and a spacious ensuite elevate the comfort and style of this home. With high ceilings throughout and almost floor-to-ceiling windows, the open, spacious feel is further enhanced by elegant interior decor, featuring wallpapers from Malcolm Fabrics and stylish light fittings.

The house is divided into two wings. One wing, on the right-hand side of the front entrance, accommodates four double bedrooms, the master with an ensuite bathroom and a large walk-in wardrobe, and a family bathroom. One of the other bedrooms also has a walk-in wardrobe. The ensuite bathroom features twin vanities with elevated basins, twin mirrors, a double fully tiled shower, and tiled floors and walls, while the family bathroom includes a freestanding bath, a single-basin vanity, and a shower.

The other wing includes the open-plan kitchen/dining/living area, a separate TV room, an office space, and a small powder room off the living area. There is also a separate laundry and triple garaging with internal access. Both the master bedroom and the TV room overlook the pool, with the outdoor living space completed by a Kwila deck outside the living area and tiles around the pool. The driveway is laid in exposed decorative concrete.

The open, spacious feel of the home is accentuated not only by the high ceilings but also by the large, almost floor-to-ceiling windows in the master bedroom and living area. The restful reserve outlook from another window facing the kitchen and dining area adds to the home's appeal.
